Luis Barroso, MD

Dr. Barroso is an Associate Professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases at Wake Forest School of Medicine. His academic interests focus on human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, in particular co-infection with HIV and HPV.  He helped to start and run the anal dysplasia screening program at Wake Forest, and is the local site PI for the Anal Cancer HSIL Outcomes Research (ANCHOR) and AIDS Malignancy Consortium (AMC) trials.
